Richard Homsany
Chairman / Director
Mr. Homsany is an experienced corporate lawyer with significant experience in the resources and energy sector. He has extensive experience in corporate law, including advising public resources and energy companies on corporate governance, finance, capital raisings, takeovers, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestments. He also has significant board and experience with publicly listed resource companies including as chairman. He has also worked for an ASX top 50-listed internationally diversified resources company in operations, risk management and corporate matters. His experience includes an operations role with Robe River Iron Ore. Mr. Homsany has completed the Certified Practising Accountant program and is a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA). He has a Commerce Degree and Honours Degree in Law from the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from FINSIA.
Brett Hodgins
President & Chief Executive Officer / Director
Mr. Hodgins has 15 years of professional experience in the resources sector primarily focused on iron ore mining operations. He began his career as a geologist with Robe River Mining and Rio Tinto Iron Ore. During that time he was involved with the commissioning and development of the West Angelas and Hope Downs operations. Mr. Hodgins' recent experience includes General Manager Project Development for Iron Ore Holdings. He brings a wide range of experience in operations and feasibility studies and has a broad knowledge of the iron ore sector. Mr. Hodgins has completed a Science Degree with Honours in Geology from Newcastle University. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Anthony Howland-Rose
Director
Mr Howland-Rose has 48 years experience in exploration, discovery, development and corporate activity worldwide in the junior exploration sector. He has been involved in over a dozen mineral discoveries which included Poseidon's Mt Windarra in 1967, the most recent of which was the Avebury Nickel Project for which he was co-recipient of the Association of Mining & Exploration Companies (AMEC) Prospector of the Year Award in 2007. Tony, for the years 1996 to 2008 as a Director and Chairman of Allegiance Mining NL, together with David Deitz, presided over the discovery, drill out, financing and building of the AUD$180 million Avebury Mine and processing facility. Allegiance Mining NL was acquired by a hostile takeover by Zinifex Limited in 2008 for approximately AUD$860 million. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Geology from the Queens University of Belfast, Ireland; Master of Science in Applied Geophysics from London University and a Diploma of Imperial College (London) in Geophysics.
David Taylor
Director
Mr. Taylor has a joint degree in business and economics and has over 15 years experience in financial services, with careers in Asia, USA and Canada. He began his career in executive search serving clients such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. He was later recruited by a FTSE 100global media concern in a career that began with software sales to financial institutions and culminated with the successful rollout of a venture capital deal database. He was later the sales manager at a boutique provider of an alternative asset management software program for institutions. In addition to his role with Central Iron Ore, he consults to several other TSX companies.
Hugh Pinninger
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Pinniger is a qualified Mining Engineer with over 30 years professional experience in both operational and corporate management. This experience has encompassed involvement in operations management throughout Australia as well as internationally. He is a Member of the AusIMM and previously held directorships in several ASX listed entities.
Graham Hurwitz
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Hurwitz is a Chartered Accountant (Australia) with over 30 years of experience in the areas of taxation, business services, business acquisitions and sales. Mr Hurwitz was a director of a Chartered Accountancy practice in Australia for 22 years. Subsequently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Allegiance Mining Limited (listed on the Australian Stock Exchange until acquired in 2008). He is currently a director of Hurwitz Geller Pty Limited, a Chartered Accountancy practice. He also acts as Chief Financial Officer of Gullewa Limited (listed on the Australian Stock Exchange). He is also a director of The Australian Institute of Music Limited. Mr Hurwitz holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant. He is a registered Tax Agent and a registered Auditor. |
